The email, only released by the State Department after numerous delays, shows that USA Military Leaders promptly sent a list of available military assets to the White House and Secretary Clinton in plenty of time for Obama to order deployment of some or all of those assets to the scene of the terrorist attack in Benghazi. At least two of those military units were completely geared up and ready to go to Benghazi while the outcome of the terror attack still hung in the balance. One of those units was in Germany and one was in Tripoli, the capital of Libya. The unit in Germany was never dispatched. There are conflicting reports on whether the Tripoli unit was finally dispatched, but one witness said last year that his unit in Tripoli was literally on the tarmac in Tripoli boarding a military asset when it received orders from Washington not to deploy. Obama functionaries testified before Congress that no military assets were available for deployment to Benghazi during the over-12-hour-assault that began on September 11, 2012, the anniversary of the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks on the USA that knocked down the World Trade Center towers in New York and crashed a passenger jet into the Pentagon. Over 3,000 Americans were killed in those attacks.
Other emails exposed in a new release from the Clinton files proves the then-Secretary of State missed a key intelligence briefing two days after the Benghazi attack because she was still home asleep. In another email, Clinton heaped praise on uber left journalist Max Blumenthal's mostly false attack on Mitt Romney after Romney spoke out on the manner in which Obama and Clinton policies directly lead to the Benghazi debacle. Finally, the new email release showed that far left sympathizer Joe Wilson, whose wife was at the center of the far-left attack on President Bush after the latter’s administration allegedly "outed" Mrs. Wilson long after she had left the undercover service of the CIA. While Wilson had direct email access to Hilary Clinton, she testified that many dozens of requests – some of them quite vehement - for additional security in Benghazi from Ambassador Stevens were never routed to Clinton’s email account.
In other words, political chit-chat got right through, but actual pleas for life-saving security did not. Clinton has been forced to reveal that she maintained a private email account, with an un-registered server, in direct violation of USA law. This same server has been hacked by foreign nations, including, apparently, China and Russia, which has led to a vigorous FBI investigation into Clinton’s apparently illegal email practices. The FBI probe, which is criminal in nature, continues even as she continues to run for President.
According to Judicial Watch and a release from the independent group last week, an email from Jeremy Bash, the Department of Defense Chief of Staff under Obama at the time of the Benghazi Massacre, "seems to directly contradict testimony given to Congress by then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in February, 2013. Defending the Obama administration’s lack of military response to the nearly six-hour-long first attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Panetta claimed that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.” The two Benghazi assaults lasted over 12 hours, more than enough time for even the unit based in Germany to arrive on site and have a major impact on the fighting. USA forces on site at Benghazi when the attacks began were so inadequate that terrorists were able to kill the Ambassador and enter the consulate to grab his body. They then paraded his body through the streets of Benghazi before taking it to a hospital. Some of the security at the consulate included Benghazi residents hired by the State Department.
At the time of the Benghazi Massacre, Obama was locked in a tough re-election fight with Romney. A key element of Obama's campaign was his self-serving statement that Osama bin Laden was dead and Al Qaeda was on the run thanks solely to actions taken by Obama. It was felt by the administration that beefing up security at Benghazi would be a direct contradiction of his argument that killing bin Laden had cut the head off of Al Qaeda and left it decimated and weak. To cover up their failure to improve security at Benghazi, Obama and Clinton hatched a story that the Benghazi attacks were spontaneous in nature and arose unexpectedly because of local anger over a video on You Tube made by an American with no connection to Obama. In fact, no one in Benghazi knew of the American-made video and Clinton was telling her daughter and the President of Libya within a few hours of the Benghazi attack that Al Qaeda or groups connected to Al Qaeda had organized and carried out the assault.
A Special Committee of the House of Representatives continues its months-long probe of the Benghazi affair. Clinton has testified twice before that committee. As yet, there have been no indictments or indications of what the outcome of the probe might be.
Clinton is a candidate for President and has a wide lead over her nearest competitor.
