BALTIMORE, Maryland, Friday, October 28, 2016 - One of those things. "Just," one of those things. For months, now, every single day is filled with the most vile characterizations of Donald Trump.
For six decades, the ultra left existed without the need or even the desire to utter a single negative word about Trump. They didn't know he was alive. They didn't care a lick about him. He was unimportant, a non-factor, a person to be existed with concurrently and without care or concern. In fact, for many of those years he was one of them. But then Donald Trump made the decision to run for President as a Republican. He wasn't a political insider of any kind, Republican or Democrat. You might think that is good and I might think that is good. But the insiders in both parties hated him for it, and few if any of them have made even the slightest effort to disguise these vile feelings about Trump and his decision to run.
We know that the ultra left - the obamas and clintons of the world - would have vilified any person who ran against their annointed candidate. As far as they are concerned, the Democratic Primary Process is the beat all and end all of all that is politically important. The winner of that process is the president and shut up already if you don't agree. It was bad enough when they had to contend with a pussy cat like Mitt Romney. You knew that if they could vilify a meek soul like Romney, they would just annihilate Trump, or, at the least, do everything in their power, legal and (mostly) illegal, the law and justice be dammed. And they certainly have. Every single day is more anti-Trump rhetoric, more anti-Trump libel and slander. You and I know that all sorts of really and actually vile folk - Jeffrey Dahmer, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, the Uni-bomber, etc. etc. - were not treated half as badly as the ultra left has treated Trump. Why do they do this? Because Trump had the unmitigated gall to run for President against their anointed Queen, Hillary R. Clinton.
Now, the election is days away and Trump has again pulled even in the polls. The livid look of every leftist you know is no disguise. In this season of disguises, the Ultra Left are going to the party dressed as themselves.
For the Left, Trump is their worst nightmare because he has skin made of solid steel. Nothing the Left says gets under that skin. They belittle and besmirch, and he just fires back. In fact, sometimes he seems to be firing back before he is even hit with a leftist barb. Instead of waltzing to the January Coronation, Queen Hillary is tired out and beaten up, and completely worn down and worn out. She can't get up the first flight of stares, even with help.
What's even worse for the Queen are these Wikileaks. The Ultra Left, or at least many of them, wanted to ignore them. The Ultra Leftists posing as journalists would just ignore them. What was to worry about?
What was to worry about? Here is the roll call of things to worry about: Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin and his TV show, Levin and his Conservative Review, and that damn Michael Savage. They, and the few like them, are absolutely relentless. Every single day they pound away. Every minute of every day. 24/7 and 365. Wiki this and Wiki that. America began to get it. The Wikileaks are emails sent to and written by John Podesta, Hillary's campaign manager. They were written with absolute candor, and they were written because, and only because, they would not see the light of day. Podesta could admit to a friend that Hillary has no common sense. Another inside Hillary functionary who had the misfortune of getting into a spat with Chelsea Clinton could admit, after it was over, that when it came to honesty and integrity, the Chelsea Apple did not fall far from the Mom Hillary Tree. No it did not.
Podesta could plan how to control so called National Opinion Polls that everybody always suspected were slanted towards favoring Hillary. The stinking connection between the State Department under Secretary Hillary and the Clinton Foundation could be laid bare. The stinking connection between the White House, the Department of Justice and the Clintons could be chatted about with impunity. Bill Clinton's dalliances and his influence over his former appointee at the DOJ could be giggled about.
The giggling and chuckles and laughs all ended when Wikileaks rolled out. Would America understand what they were in time to save the nation from this corruption?
More and more, it looks like the nation's voters are understanding. The latest round of polls show Trump surging.
