TOWSON, Maryland, Friday, August 18, 2017 - (UPDATED AT 2:05 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time) A second terror incident, again attributed to Islamic Terror groups, has occurred in Spain within 24-hours of a more serious one on Thursday. The second incident was reported to have occurred in Cambrils, a Spanish seaside resort town. There, a car full of Islamic Terrorists apparently holed up there in a combination housing and bomb-making facility, rammed a police barricade with their vehicle.
This time, however, the police were fully ready. Five Islamic Terrorists were killed along with one female civilian. Seven other people, including a police officer, were injured.
Authorities, meanwhile, continue a frantic search for the driver of the van which killed 14 and injured over 130 persons in the Las Ramblas section of Barcelona on Thursday. Three other men are in police custody.
The driver fled the van after it was finally stopped at the end of its evil "500 meter" rampage along a very popular stretch of the Las Ramblas area. Witnesses recount seeing the van swerving wildly to maximize the number of pedestrians it mowed down.
Police say that the man who rented the van is not the man who was driving it at the time of the attacks. The man renting the van is identified as Driss Oukabir.
According to Spanish Authorities, 12 Moroccan Immigrants were operating a bomb-making house and residence in Cambrils. One Wednesday night, a massive explosion that authorities originally thought was a typical natural gas ignition, took place in Cambrils. It is believed that the 12 Moroccans had been in the final stages of planning a much larger, much more complicated terror attack until the unexpected bomb ignited. Deprived of some of their firepower, the terrorists reverted to the less-complicated option of using vehicles to inflict death, maiming and destruction on the people of Barcelona and Cambrils.
Witnesses told police that the 12 Moroccans were all heavy drinkers - an interesting observation considering the complete ban on alcohol use that is practiced by folk of the Muslim Faith. In London, The Sun newspaper described the Moroccans as "depraved."
President Trump called Spanish Leaders to express the condolences of all Americans. The President strongly condemned the attacks, and offered any help that the Americans could offer.
According to The Sun, in London, the driver of the van that killed 14 in Barcelona on Thursday is Moussa Oukabir, 17. Police say the minor stole his older brother's ID and rented the van. There is some thought among police that he is among the five terrorists shot by Police in Cambrils on Friday.
Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said the van attack was a result of 'jihadist terrorism,' The Sun reported. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the carnage and debauchery inflicted by the 12 crazed Moroccans.
Among the dead and injured are citizens of 34 different nations, according to The Sun.
