TOWSON, Maryland, Saturday, September 2, 22017 - It is halftime in Austin, Texas and with all of the woe and trouble in the Lone Star State, the last thing anybody needs is for the home-state football team, ranked No. 23 in the nation, to lose their first game. If you feel that way, look away right now because at halftime, the Maryland Terrapins lead Texas, 30-14.
Maryland's Quarterback, Tyrrell "Piggy" Pigrome, the sophomore from Pinson, Alabama, has almost single-handedly put Maryland in a position to upset the No. 23 Longhorns. He has thrown and run for multiple touchdowns. Each team has scored a touchdown on a blocked field goal.
The Longhorns actually broke on top, 7-0, by returning an intercepted pass for a TD. But the Terps ran off 4 straight touchdowns to grab a 27-7 lead.
