Today is February 3; Tonight is the State of the Union; Tomorrow is the Impeachment Vote

LAURAVILLE, Maryland Tuesday, February 3, 2020 - The headline above informs us all that President Trump will physically be on Capital Hill tonight to deliver this third State of the Union Address.  Tomorrow, at the same venue, the United States Senate will vote on whether the President will be permitted to remain on the job.

Those Lilliputians in the House - no, I'm not insulting Nads Nadler or ole Pencil Neck Schiff - voted to impeach President Trump shortly before Christmas. This week the President appears at the scene of the crime to make his State of the Union Address.  The impeachment vote, then, is tomorrow.

If you are wagering, the President is in great shape.  In the Senate, composed, as it were, of some 51 GOP Senators, 48 Democrats and One so-called independent, those wanting to give Trump the old heave-ho must muster 67 votes.

 They cannot.
