Acquittal for Trump Seems All But Assured

TOWSON, Maryland Saturday, February 1, 2020 - The Senate of these United States is not in session this first day of February, 2020.  In the impeachment trial of our President, all that officially remains to do is the overdue vote to acquit.

The two articles put upon the Senate by the Far Left were never anything other than ridiculous.  Virtually every President, including even Obama, have made statements that are equal to that which the Far Left claimed should have led to Trump's ouster.  Obama, you'll recall, blundered his way through the IRS scandal and the scandal surrounding the Fast and Furious imbroglio. The sanctimonious Chuck Schumer kept forgetting about those.

According to media reports. the two sides agreed Saturday afternoon that closing arguments will take place Monday and Tuesday, followed by the vote to acquit on Wednesday.

The Anti-American Far Left took to the media on Saturday to begin a campaign of whining and griping.  Schumer said no impeachment can result in acquittal unless unless witnesses are allowed to testify.  Schumer complained about the extensive and drawn out testimony while the impeachment was mired in the House.  For her part, Pellosi provided moaning, griping and no small amount of carrying on Friday evening, much of it centered on the fact that the Democrats weren't given everything they asked for.

With the Presidential Primary season swinging into high gear this week with the Iowa Caucuses, followed soon after by the New Hampshire Primary and the South Carolina Primary, many Democrats were anxious to put the impeachment behind them, even if meant Trump's acquittal.

Most observers said that the Democrats were severely hurt by the poor performances of the so-called House Managers, who were selected by Pellossi to prosecute the case in the Senate.  The despicable and overtly dishonest Adam Schiff and his Bonzo-like sidekick Nads Nadler, ended up being laughing stocks, especially compared with the highly competent Presidential Defenders, led by Professor Alan Dershowitz, Attorneys Ken Starr and Jay Sekulow, among others.  Instead of off-the-cuff and thrown together answers put together by the managers, Trump's team was intellectual but, at the same time, convincing and compelling.

Acquittal seems all but guaranteed for Trump, which seems only fair.  He did nothing wrong and should never have had to go through the sham to begin with.
