Mobs storm buildings in three Eastern Ukraine Cities

BALTIMORE, Maryland April 6, 2014 - Pro-Russian demonstrators - the Ukrainian Government says they are being instigated intentionally by Russian functionaries - stormed buildings in three eastern Ukrain cities Sunday, bringing an angry response from the Ukraine Government. The Washington Post reported that the demonstrators in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk all demanded a referendum permitting them to break away from Ukraine and become part of Russia. Many believe Russian Strong Man Vladimir Putin will continue to stoke trouble in Ukraine so long as the Kiev Government continues to tilt west. Besides the strife in the eastern part of Ukraine, the Kiev government is trying to solve the gasoline crisis brought about when Russia raised its price of the gasoline it sells to Ukraine. Kiev is trying to arrange shipments of gasoline from the west.

Earlier today we reported on the murder of a Ukrainian journalist. He opposed Russian heavy-handedness. For his beliefs, he was dragged from his home Friday night by three pieces of human debris. They found his body today in a shallow grave apparently dug before the kidnapping. The victim, Vasily Sergiyenko, had been tortured. It's a fine group of people responding to Putin's call.
